Poetic Ending, Drama Beginning

posted Feb 7, 2011, 5:53 PM by Michael Reilly
We wrapped up Poetry today, with some really cool products.  Since we now have a SchoolTube.com account, we can post videos there.  We do have some audio projects too, and I think I can host those on some of our school webspace.  Funny though, that there's no audio equivalent to YouTube.  Anyone have tips?

For final evaluation, we do have industry pros ready to judge.  While I can't say names until after, we do have record producers, graphic artists and more ready to give their opinions and criticisms straight to the students.

In the meantime, we're trying to get the next topic underway: Drama!  Traditionally based in Romeo and Juliet, Drama deals with understanding the structure of a play, not just a dramatic situation.   We're going to start off with some intensive language arts, leading into interpretation by the students.

We'll have more on this project shortly, it should be pretty good!
